CKYH LINES RESUME DIRECT OCEAN SERVICE BETWEEN BOSTON, CHINA

The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) said outbound service has resumed from Boston to Asia, through China Ocean Shipping Co. and alliance partners, K-Line, Yang Ming, and Hanjin Shipping Lines.

Before the new service began, ships leaving Boston on the CKYH service first sailed to Europe, where exports to Asia were relayed via ports on the Continent.

The new outbound service will provide direct weekly sailings from Boston to Quindao, China, in 24 days. Subsequent calls will be made at the ports of Yantian and Hong Kong, in 27 and 28 days before returning to the U.S.
