CARRIERS START NEW INDIAN SUB/FAR EAST SERVICE
From the start of next month, Dongnama Shipping Co., “K” Line, Shipping Corporation of India and Pacific International Lines are starting a joint weekly Asia/Indian Subcontinent service.
The new India Far East Express service will call Nhava Sheva, Colombo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Busan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Colombo and back to Nhava Sheva.
The carriers are considering adding Shanghai to the port rotation, “K” Line said.
The new INDFEX service will have a direct transit time of 17 days between Nhava Sheva and Busan.
All four carriers will each deploy fully cellular ships with
approximately 1,400-TEU capacity.
