LE HAVRE SEES THROUGHPUT INCREASE FOR YEAR
Total throughput at Le Havre for the year 2001 was 1,523,493 TEUs compared to 1,464,901 TEUs for the same period in 2000, an increase of 4 percent .
Exports were up 4.2 percent, at 763,078 TEUs compared to 732,450 TEUs for the previous year. Imports were up slightly less at 3.8 percent, 760,415 TEUs compared to 732,451.
