NYK raises rates from China to Mexico
NYK Line has notified shippers it plans to raise freight rates $300 per 20-foot container and $400 per 40-foot box for transpacific shipments from Hong Kong, Macau and South China to Mexico, effective May 1.
The Japanese carrier said this was part of a general rate restoration.
Those shipments will also bear a peak season surcharge of $300 per 20-foot container, $400 per 40-foot box and $450 per high-cube container during the period from June 15 to Nov. 30, NYK said.
