Tideworks’ terminal operating system will go live at Port Everglades in early 2016.
Tideworks Technology, an company that provides terminal management and planning software. said Crowley Maritime will use its terminal operating system (TOS) at its container terminals.
Crowley will utilize Tideworks’ suite of solutions under a fully-hosted model. The first Crowley facility to deploy Tideworks’ TOS will be its Port Everglades, Fla. terminal, presently scheduled for go live in early 2016.
The project includes implementation of Tideworks’ Mainsail Vanguard core TOS, Spinnaker Planning Management System, Traffic Control, GateVision gate operating system, and Forecast web portal. In addition, Tideworks will provide its managed EDI service, known as EDI Porter℠, so Crowley can seamlessly exchange information with its trading partners and other enterprise systems.
The project encompasses a multi-site software hosting agreement for up to six facilities within Crowley’s terminal network. The TOS infrastructure will be hosted and supported at Tideworks’ hardened data center.
