Minerva picks USCO to handle U.S. imports
Minerva USA, the North American subsidiary of Minerva S.p.A. of Genoa, Italy, an olive oil manufacturing and trading company, has contracted with USCO Logistics to manage its U.S. imports.
USCO, a provider of supply chain solutions, is handling all aspects of Minerva’s inbound shipments, including customs brokerage and delivery by container to four USCO distribution centers in Miami, Portland, Ore., Hayward and Ontario, Calif. Minerva’s olive oil products are stored and then shipped to retailers by truckload and less-than-truckload distribution.
Based in Hamden, Conn., USCO Logistics is part of Kuehne & Nagel International AG, a Swiss provider of forwarding and logistics services.
