Diaz, long-time ocean shipping executive, dies

In the early 1950s, Diaz followed his father into the shipping
business at Garcia and Diaz as a ship agent and manager. He later became
vice president at Grace Lines and T.J. Stevenson Co., and then was
named president of West Coast Lines.
