POST-PANAMAX CONTAINER CRANES ARRIVE IN AMSTERDAM
The port of Amsterdam has taken delivery of three 367-foot-high container cranes to be used in the Ceres Paragon, a new container terminal in the Amerikahaven section.
All nine cranes that the port has ordered from the Chinese company ZPMC will be in place by July. Each has a 200-foot reach, and can lift two 20-ft containers simultaneously.
