MATSON ADDS UPDATE BOOKING FUNCTION TO ONLINE SUPPORT CENTER

   Matson Navigation Co. Inc., the domestic shipping subsidiary of Alexander & Baldwin inc. of Honolulu, said it has added an update booking function to is online services at http://www.matson.com .

   Using the update booking feature, customers can update key booking information, such as vessel voyage, number of containers, consignee and destination on a real-time basis. Customers can update information for an entire booking or any specific received container. Once an update is processed, customers receive a confirmation number.

   Matson's “virtual customer support center” offers a range of other online options, including tracking shipments, viewing account balances and retrieving billing documents.
