LogFire, a cloud-based supply chain services provider based in Atlanta, has expanded its existing warehouse management software (WMS) to include a new transload and deconsolidation function for third-party logistics providers.
The LogFire WMS Trans Load and Deconsolidation capabilities will help 3PLs move freight from ocean containers to outbound trailerloads based on destination, purchase order, and stock-keeping unit. LogFire said this function will allow 3PLs to do these activities in one system, removing the need to switch between transportation and warehouse management systems.
