Maersk details port rotation of revised Middle East/South Asia service
Maersk Line has detailed the port rotation of its revised services to the Middle East and Indian subcontinent.
The new rotation for the MECL1 service is Jebel Ali Dubai, U.A.E.; Karachi, Pakistan; Nhava Sheva, India; Salalah, Oman; Newark, N.J.; Norfolk, Va.; Charleston, S.C.; Cagliari, Italy; Salalah; and Jebel Ali Dubai.
The MECL 1 service is adding Karachi and eliminating Pipavav, India. The direction of service on the United States East Coast rotation is reversed to go from North to South.
The new rotation for MECL2 service is Madras-Chenia, India; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Salalah; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Algeciras, Spain; Savannah, Ga.; Norfolk; Newark; Algeciras; Gioia Tauro, Italy; Jeddah; Salalah; Colombo; and Madras-Chenia.
The MECL 2 service is adding Madras/Chenia, Savannah, Gioia Tauro, and Colombo, and eliminating Halifax and Tanjung Pelepas, Malayasia. The direction of the U.S. East Coast rotation is reversed to go from South to North.
