D’AMICO UNIFIES NAMES, MANAGEMENT

   D’Amico, the Italian shipping company, said that it will
centralize liner services operated by the three companies of the group and operate them
under the single name Italia.
    From January, Genoa-based Italia di Navigazione, the company bought by
D’Amico in 1998, will operate all the services previously run by D’Amico and by Sius di
Navigazione, in addition to its own services.
    D’Amico’s other business activities, including its bulk business, will
be unaffected by the reorganization.
