Nixon joining NYK (Europe) from Maersk
Jeremy Nixon will take up a “senior liner role” at NYK (Europe) in mid April after resigning from Maersk Line.
Nixon joined the Danish mega-carrier from P&O Nedlloyd after Maersk’s acquisition of the Anglo-Dutch line in 2005. In Copenhagen, he was vice president and head of key client management. A spokesman for Maersk said no replacement has been decided upon yet.
Another former P&O Nedlloyd executive, Tom Boardley, recently left as head of NYK’s European liner operations after accepting a position with CMA CGM in the United Kingdom.
