COYNE AIRWAYS LAUNCHES TWICE-WEEKLY U.K./EGYPT FREIGHTER SERVICE
Coyne Airways, the scheduled and charter services operator, has launched twice-weekly Airbus A300 freighter services between the United Kingdom and Europe, operating every Monday and Friday.
Larry Coyne, chief executive of Coyne, said: “This is a good example of the ‘risk-sharing’ concept put forward by Coyne Airways to customers earlier this year. It is developed on the need for a time-definite service for our main customers, whereby we use our own sales and marketing team to sell the remaining capacity.”
Coyne Airways’ GSA partner in Europe, Swift, is marketing return cargo capacity to the United Kingdom.
Coyne also operates scheduled cargo flights into the Caspian region, a market it has served since the early 1990s. It carries more than 50 percent of all scheduled cargo flown into the region.
