LUFTHANSA TO LAUNCH FLIGHTS TO DENVER AND PHOENIX
Lufthansa German Airlines said it will start direct daily service to Phoenix and Denver from its hub in Frankfurt beginning next spring.
Both flights will be operated by a Airbus A340 passenger aircraft, which should give shippers some belly-deck capacity for pallets and containers.
Lufthansa also said it will add a daily flight between Los Angeles and Munich in March using a B747-400. The carriers other U.S. gateways include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington.
