Europe West Indies Lines starts new loop
Rotterdam-based Europe West Indies Lines is starting a new weekly service in the Europe to Caribbean/Central America trade.
The “West Indies Express” service commences with the departure of the vessel “Cape Palmas” from Portsmouth on Feb. 10. The rotation of the service will be Portsmouth, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam, Willemstad, Oranjestad, Kingston, Puerto Limon and back to Portsmouth.
Willemstad will be used as a hub to provide transshipment options from the different origins to the various destinations served by EWL’s other direct services.
The service will transport conventional cargo like vehicles, steel, big bags, palletized cargo and project cargo, as well as containerized cargo, EWL said.
