Former speaker Bense named to Enterprise Florida board
Gov. Charlie Crist has named former Florida House of Representatives speaker of the House Allan Bense to the board of Enterprise Florida, Inc.
Enterprise Florida is a public/private entity that serves as the equivalent of a state Department of Commerce. Bense, a Panama City, Fla. businessman, was the House speaker during the last session of the state legislature. He did not run for re-election in 2006.
