PACER INTERNATIONAL, QIVA STRIKE DEAL
Pacer International has selected Qiva to provide enhanced supply-chain visibility, logistics management, and other service benefits for Pacer's customers.
Qiva's event management systems will enable Pacer to improve its 'pricing, tracking, control, and equipment maintenance,' said Walter Peckham, Pacer's chief informational officer.
Implementation of the new system will take 12 to 18 months, Peckham said.
Pacer International is a non-asset-based third party logistics provider based in Concord, Calif.
San Francisco-based Qiva provides supply chain management systems and is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and The Valent Group.
