HySea picks Port Manatee
HySea Shipping will use Florida’s Port Manatee to launch its new container and breakbulk cargo service to Puerto Cortes, Honduras, starting Jan. 22.
“Port Manatee offers excellent intermodal advantages and we anticipate increasing our service to weekly calls as our volumes continue to grow,” said Mark Jordan, owner of the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based carrier, in a statement.
Port Manatee-based freight forwarder Alpico International will handle bookings for HySea, while Liberty Terminals Manatee will provide stevedoring services.
