Chertoff to tour L.A. port, airport
Michael Chertoff, head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, next week will visit the port complex of Los Angeles-Long Beach and Los Angeles International Airport to learn first hand the challenges of protecting two of the world’s largest transportation hubs from terrorist attacks, Rep. Jane Harmon, D-Calif., said during an appearance Wednesday on National Public Radio’s “Diane Rehm Show.”
