Lifshatz is appointed CFO; Thrasher and Pay get new roles.
Lifshatz most recently served as CFO for Fleetmatics, a global fleet management telematics and software-as-a-service firm. He joins Lytx with three decades of executive-level experience at leading software and SaaS companies. Lifshatz is based in Lytx’s San Diego headquarters and reports to Brandon Nixon, Lytx chairman and CEO.
“With his extensive industry knowledge and experience scaling high-growth companies, Steve will be an asset to Lytx as we continue to grow at an unrivaled pace,” Nixon said.
Lytx says it harnesses “the power of video to transform fleets with improved safety, efficiency, productivity and profitability. Our flagship service, the Lytx DriveCam safety program, sets the standard for driver safety in the industries we serve.”
As CFO of Fleetmatics, Lifshatz led financial strategy, processes and enterprise systems that supported the company’s growth, 2012 initial public offering and ultimately its 2016 acquisition by Verizon for $2.4 billion. He also held the CFO position at Authoria, Lionbridge Technologies, The Dodge Group and Marcam Corporation and served as an independent director and chair of the audit committee for AMICAS Inc.
Marine electronic equipment provider Actisense has undergone an internal reorganization. Danny Thrasher, formerly the head of sales and operations, has taken on the newly created role of head of sales and marketing, and Mark Pay, formerly the operations supervisor, has been promoted to the role of operations manager.
Thrasher will be aligning sales activities with Actisense’s global business development plans. He also will be targeting new sectors for Actisense products, including the automotive, industrial automation and agricultural vehicle markets.
Pay will oversee the production warehouse, helping prepare Actisense for growth in new markets, increase internal efficiency and minimize costs.
Serving both the leisure and commercial marine markets, Actisense grew by more than 25 percent in 2017 alone. Based in Poole, England, the company also expanded its international network into new markets including China, India and South America. Actisense now works with more than 70 distributors in 42 countries, stretching from Norway to New Zealand, Canada to Korea and all of mainland Europe.
