U.S. awards $526,600 grant for Albanian port study
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency has awarded the Albanian Ministry of Economy a $526,600 grant to fund a study on expanding and modernizing the Port of Vlore.
The study will cover future cargo demands and consider the feasibility of building a new oil terminal and distribution system at the port.
“The grant represents the on-going USTDA commitment to expand trade throughout the Balkan region and to assist Albania in increasing its trade capacity,” the agency said.
