GEARBULK TAKES OVER CHILE/FAR EAST SERVICE FROM HOEGH
Gearbulk, the dry-bulk operator, is taking over the Chile/Far East
service of Hoegh Lines.
Hoegh Lines would not comment on the reason for transferring the
service to Gearbulk and pulling out of the Chile/Far East trade.
Hoegh’s involvement in the Chile/Far East operation ended when the
vessel Hoegh Morus made its last scheduled call at Yokohama on Nov. 17.
The service had called at ports in Japan, Taiwan, Chile, Peru, and the
U.S.
Details of the itinerary of the service under Gearbulk’s control are
unknown.
