ECU-LINE STARTS WEEKLY RIO HAINA/ANTWERP SERVICE
Non-vessel-operating common carrier Ecu-Line said Wednesday it has begun a weekly ocean service between Antwerp and Rio Haina, in the Dominican Republic.
When volume permits, containers are sent directly to Rio Haina, with a transit time of 25 days. Otherwise, cargoes to Rio Haina move by transshipment through Miami, in 28 days.
Upon arrival in the Dominican Republic, containers from Antwerp are stripped by Ecu-Line’s agent, Intertrans SA.
