CSX LINES USES HORIZON SOLUTION FOR æZERO-SECONDÆ BOOKINGS
Horizon Services Group, a Dallas-based logistics management technology company, has implemented with CSX Lines a new Web tool that automatically confirms shippers’ bookings.
Horizon’s Auto-Book solution allows shippers to control freight by setting an online schedule for automatically submitting bookings to CSX Lines, a U.S. Jones Act ocean carrier.
Shippers then receive automatic confirmations with booking numbers and a summary of containers booked. They can change their bookings anytime prior to containers being received.
