QUOTESHIP EXCHANGE GOES NATIONAL
QuoteShip Exchange, the online transport auction system run by Massachusetts-based Logistics.com, has expanded to offer national coverage in the United States.
QuoteShip, acquired by Logistics.com this summer, offers spot quote shipping services for air and ocean shipments. It plans to launch a ground transport auction system in September. The site was first offered to shippers in Boston.
Logistics.com said that more than 1,400 Boston-area shippers and 200 transportation providers have signed up with QuoteShip. The national rollout will initially focus on the West Coast.
