Atlas providing Asiana Cargo with second 747

The Boeing freighter will boost the South Korean airline’s cargo capacity on key transpacific routes feeding into the U.S. market.

Atlas Air has entered into an agreement to provide a second Boeing 747-400 freighter for Asiana Cargo.
The plane, which enters service with Asiana Cargo this month, will be operated by Atlas Air and flown on routes in the transpacific market, “connecting South Korea with several destinations in the United States,” Atlas Air said.
Atlas began operating the first B747-400 for the South Korean airline in February 2017.
