ICF TO BEGIN ITALY/ROMANIA BLOCK SERVICE

   Pan-European network operator Intercontainer-Interfrigo will begin operating two block trains per week between Verona and Romania.

   The first block train will run between Verona Quadrante Europa, one of Italy's major intermodal hubs, and the Romanian town of Glogovat. The train has a capacity of 45 TEUs, and will leave Verona on Saturdays, to reach Glogovat in 40 hours. In the opposite direction, trains will depart on Thursdays and arrive on Saturdays.

   The second block train will link Verona Quadrante Europa with the Romanian capital of Bucharest at the Bucharest Noi terminal. This train will leave Verona on Fridays and arrive 60 hours later. Westbound trains will leave on Fridays and arrive the following Monday.
