“K” LINE SIGNS DEAL WITH TAIYO OIL

   Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd has concluded a contract of affreightment with Taiyo Oil Co., Ltd. for the sea transport of Southeast-Asian crude oil that Taiyo imports from that area.

   About 30 voyages are to be carried out per year by Aframax tankers. “K” Line time-chartered the two Aframax tankers which Taiyo's Singapore-based subsidiary holds, i.e. “Taiyoh I” and “Taiyoh III.”
