CIRCLE INTERNATIONAL PROMOTES EXECUTIVES
Circle International has announced several executive management
promotions.
Randy T. Clark has been named executive vice president, operations planning
and logistics. He replaces Kim Wertheimer, who left to become executive vice president of
North American international business development for Eagle USA Airfreight.
Clark joined Circle in August 1998 as executive vice president and chief
operating officer for North America. In his new position, he assumes worldwide
responsibility for operations planning, new business integration, global pricing and
product development and Circle’s Logistics & Supply Chain Management group.
Paul H. Graham replaces Clark as executive vice president and COO for North
America. Graham, a 20-year veteran of the transportation and logistics industry, has
served as president and COO of Circle’s Asia Pacific region since September 1996.
Clark and Graham are based at Circle’s San Francisco headquarters.
Anthony G. Hooey a 25-year industry veteran, succeeds Graham as executive
vice president and COO, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. Hooey was vice president and
managing director of Circle’s operations in the United Kingdom.
In addition, Philippe R. Gilbert has been named vice president, Latin America
operations, replacing Robert Diaz, who left the company. Gilbert joined Circle in 1996 as
global projects director in Houston.
