ST&R HIRES EX-ASIAN GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

   Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg has hired two former Asian government officials to enhance the law firm’s trade negotiations and legislative affairs practice.

   Zhaokang Jiang joins ST&R as an associate. He served as deputy director of law and regulations for China’s General Administration of Customs. He is credited for its work on China’s Regulations on Customs Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights and other major customs regulations.

   ST&R has appointed Dzung Pham to vice president of trade and investment affairs. He served at the Vietnam Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Vietnam Foreign Investment Board. He negotiated frequently with the World Bank, International Financial Corp., International Monetary Fund and the Asian Development Bank. He also advised companies on how to conduct business in Vietnam.
