Baseball Hall of Fame picks DHL as logistics provider
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, based in Cooperstown, N.Y., has contracted with global integrator DHL to act as its exclusive express delivery and logistics provider.
Under terms of the three-year agreement, DHL will handle all shipping and logistics for the Hall of Fame, including the distribution of ballots for the selection of the 2006 Hall of Fame inductees.
On Nov. 21, DHL transported 600 printed ballots from the Hall of Fame directly to the Baseball Writers Association of America, which has been responsible for choosing inductees since 1936.
