ELITE INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION JOINS C-TPAT
Elite International Transportation Inc. on Monday said it had submitted its application to join a U.S. Customs’ private-public initiative meant to protect global commerce from terrorism.
Elite is one of the first third-party logistics providers to join the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism.
Established this March for importers and carriers, C-TPAT was expanded in August to customs brokers, freight forwarders, and non-vessel operating common carriers.
