ITC investigates overseas competition to U.S. foundry products
The U.S. International Trade Commission has started an investigation into the impact of overseas competition on U.S. foundry products.
The investigation, which was requested by the House Ways and Means Committee, will analyze iron-, steel-, aluminum-, and copper-based cast products.
The ITC will hold a public hearing in connection with its investigation (Inv. No. 332-460) in Washington on Oct. 14. The agency will file its report to the House committee by May 4, 2005.
