U.S. LAUNCHES STUDY ON BUSINESS IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA

   The U.S. International Trade Commission has started a comprehensive study on the country’s trade and investment in sub-Saharan Africa.

   The study, which was commenced at the request of the U.S. Trade Representative, will last for the next five years. Reports will be issued each December.

   About 48 sub-Saharan African countries will be involved in the study, including updates on bilateral and regional trade agreements.
