CARRIERS LOWER ISRAEL RISK SURCHARGE
Shipping lines of the Europe/Mediterranean Trade Agreement are reducing their extra risk insurance surcharge applicable to Israeli shipments.
Following discussions with their insurance underwriters, the carriers of the conference said that additional premiums for vessels serving Israeli ports have decreased again.
The conference lines’ reduced extra risk insurance surcharge is $21 per TEU, down from $30 previously.
