ITC SEEKS INPUT ON REMOVING TARIFFS ON CHILE, SINGAPORE AGRICULTURE

The U.S. International Trade Commission is seeking written input for an investigation on possible economic effects that would result from eliminating U.S. tariffs on certain agricultural products from Chile and Singapore.

As requested by the office of the U.S. Trade Representative, ITC will assess the economic effects through a quantitative analysis of what the impact would be from tariffs, and it welcomes written submissions for the record in the investigation.

A list of the products involved in the investigation may be obtained on the Web by downloading the request letter from ITC’s electronic document information system at http://www.dockets.usitc.gov/eol/public/.

For additional information, contact Jonathan Coleman, at 202) 205-3465, or at the ITC Web site: http://www.usitc.gov.
