ProLogis, Home Depot sign Inland Empire DC development deal
ProLogis said Monday it has signed two build-to-suit lease agreements with home improvement giant Home Depot, one in California's Inland Empire and one in the Cincinnati area.
Denver-based ProLogis said in a release it is developing a 658,000-square-foot distribution center for Home Depot in Redlands, Calif., at ProLogis Park Redlands. The property and development firm is developing a similar facility 20 miles north of Cincinnati in Monroe, Ohio at ProLogis Park Corridor 75.
The Ohio facility is due to be completed in the fourth quarter, and construction of the Redlands facility is to be completed in the first quarter of 2009, ProLogis said.
With the two facilities ProLogis will own, manage and operate 90 distribution centers, with 30 million square feet in the Inland Empire.
