Atlas Logistics rebrands, while Total Quality Logistics opens new office in Texas.
Atlas World Group, Inc. announced a new brand and strategic direction for Atlas Logistics dubbed “Go.” The logistics group said the new identity “will help to better distinguish the Atlas Logistics brand as a single brand operating on a common platform.”
The refocused division will provide a broader suite of padded van fleet, supply chain management, project management and third party logistics services to customers in the retail, restaurant and hospitality; medical equipment and healthcare; manufacturing, capital goods and raw materials; and fine arts and exhibits industries, among others.
“Our logistics business has always been steadfast, and we take pride in our proficiency and customer responsiveness,” said Glen Dunkerson, chairman and CEO of Atlas World Group. “By revealing a cohesive logistics brand, industry peers and everyday customers will better understand our service offerings and have confidence knowing it’s with the Atlas name and equipment.”
Total Quality Logistics opened a new sales office in Dallas, joining operations in Austin and Houston to become the company’s third office in the state of Texas. The new location currently houses 19 employees and the full truckload specialist anticipates adding another 50-75 sales representatives to the new location in the next three years.
“Dallas is business friendly and a leader in logistics due to our location and vast resources,” Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings said in a statement from TQL. “I’m excited TQL, the second largest freight brokerage firm in the nation, has selected to expand their business in Dallas creating new business and job opportunities.”
