Effective from July 1, NYK and Quadrant will take space from Evergreen on its weekly Asia/South Africa/East Coast South America ESA service.
NYK and Quadrant are both members of the Good Hope Express joint service in the same trade, alongside Compania Sud Americana de Vapores and Norsul. The slot charter agreement with Evergreen will double NYK’s and Quadrant’s frequency of sailings on the Asia/South Africa/East Coast South America route.
Evergreen’s ESA service uses 10 vessels averaging 3,008 TEUs and calls Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Singapore, Port Louis (fortnightly), Durban, Cape Town , Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Santos, Cape Town, Durban, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kaohsiung. Evergreen operates the service in cooperation with COSCO Container Lines and Lloyd Triestino.
