APL LOGISTICS’ EUROPEAN HEAD STEPS DOWN
Thomas Poulsen has stepped down as APL Logistics’ vice president in charge of Europe.
APL Logistics, the logistics arm of Neptune Orient Lines, would not disclose why Poulsen is leaving the company.
He will be replaced by Daniel C. Ryan as head of APL Logistics’ Europe region, based in London.
Ryan was most recently president of the Middle East region of the liner shipping carrier APL, a sister company of APL Logistics. He has held executive positions in the organization, including in the logistics area, and has worked in the United States, the Middle East and Asia.
Meanwhile, within the APL liner business, Ong Tuen Suan has been appointed regional vice president for the Middle East and East Africa, and managing director of APL United Arab Emirates. Ong was previously vice president, liner control at APL.
