MAERSK SEALAND BEGINS U.S.-OCEANIA SERVICE

   Maersk Sealand, an ocean carrier headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, announced on Tuesday that it has begun a new U.S. East Coast Oceania service.

   The new service, independently operated, features biweekly, fixed-day departures and arrivals, as well as 25-day transits from Philadelphia to Melbourne, Australia.

   The U.S. East Coast Oceania service replaces Maersk Sealand’s Oceania Direct service, which formerly served this trade.
