TECMARINE ADDS FERNANDINA BEACH/CARIBBEAN CONNECTION
Tecmarine Lines, the Port Everglades-based Caribbean trade operator, has added a call at Fernandina Beach to its weekly U.S. northeast service which connects Gloucester City, N.J. (near Philadelphia) to the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Jamaica.
The Gloucester City departure day remains a Thursday, with Fernandina Beach departures on Saturdays. Arrival at Port-au-Prince is on Tuesday, Rio Haina on Wednesday, and Kingston on Thursday.
Tecmarine already has a weekly sailing from Port Everglades to the same destinations. The new call will reinforce the carrier’s existing service in the southeast, especially from Georgia and South Carolina, a spokesman said.
