SCHENKER ACQUIRES HOLDING IN CHINESE FORWARDER
Schenker AG, the large German forwarding and logistics group, has acquired a holding in Shanghai Expotrans Ltd., a Shanghai-based Chinese forwarder specialized in trade fairs.
Schenker has cooperated closely with Expotrans for many years. Now, Schenker can develop its own trade fair activities in Shanghai, it said.
“The participation in Expotrans enables the company to benefit from important direct contacts to government and administration offices,” the company said.
