HELLMANN WILL PUT WAREHOUSING ONLINE
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, the Germany-based international forwarder, said will offer warehousing and distribution services online to as part of a broader effort to expand in the United States its range of logistics services.
The new online services, part of a global warehousing and inventory control program under development at Hellmann, will first be offered to customers in North American in November. The forwarder plans to expand the services to Argentina and Brazil next year.
Hellmann said it will offer online access to inventory, allowing customers to place pick orders and distribution instructions for orders to be delivered throughout North America. The system will include “data bridge links” to Hellmann's global transport services.
