GOLAR LNG TO JOIN NASDAQ EXCHANGE
Golar LNG Ltd., a liquefied natural gas shipping company based in Bermuda, said it would start trading on the Nasdaq stock exchange in mid-December.
The company’s registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has been declared effective. Golar LNG is already listed on the Oslo stock exchange.
Golar LNG reported third-quarter net income of $1.9 million, compared with a loss of $2.2 million for the same period in 2001.
