IAG Cargo and Qatar Airways extended their contract indefinitely and expanded the network agreement under which IAG Cargo purchases capacity from Qatar Airways to include nine routes.
The partnership now encompasses a new Shanghai to Madrid service, which supports the flow of consumer electronics from Shanghai, IAG said in a statement. In addition, the airfreight carrier has launched a new feed from Islamabad to the IAG Cargo network that supports the transport of garments from Pakistan.
IAG Cargo said it will also book more capacity on regional routes covered by the partnership.
