Kale Logistics announced two new information technology offerings for warehousing and distribution, and an end-to-end fleet management system.
PYXIS, the warehouse system, monitors each stage in the process, including the arrival and dispatch of cargo. The service monitors location, package information, shipping and packing procedures, and can be expanded to other aspects.
HELIOS is a Web-based transportation and fleet management system built on two modules, TRANS and FLEET. The HELIOS TRANS offering tracks the life cycle of transportation, from vehicle requests and placement to content delivery and billing. The FLEET offering focuses on minimizing risks related to vehicle investment and reduction of transportation and staff costs.
Vineet Malhotra, Kale’s global head of sales and marketing, said the new applications “will open up the market for medium-sized warehouses to be automated and provide a viable solution to the transportation companies and end users.”
