AMERICAN GLOBAL TO FINALIZE NEW ATLANTIC SERVICE
New York-based multipurpose operator American Global said that it is close to finalizing the details of its new transatlantic service, due to be launched at the end of June.
American Global expects to provide a fortnightly multipurpose service between Philadelphia and several yet-to-be-named northern European ports.
The owners of American Global are currently in Germany to discuss the details of the service, a spokesman for the company said.
The company will switch vessels to the new Atlantic route from its transpacific service, which will be terminated.
