U.S. CUSTOMS REMINDS BROKERS OF ANNUAL PERMIT FEE DUE DATE

   U.S. Customs reminds licensed customs brokers that they have until Jan. 21 to pay their annual permit fee.

   Customs regulations, which comply with the 1986 Tax Reform Act, require that this fee be paid to the agency annually in each broker district where the broker was issued a permit to do business. This fee applies to all brokers whether they’re individuals, partnerships, or corporations.
